We’re thrilled to share that Ursus has landed on Inc. Magazine’s “5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the U.S.” list for the second time — coming in at #1,136. Rankings are determined by revenue growth from 2018 to 2021 and our inclusion is based on our 572% growth during that time.
The Inc. 5000 list includes the most successful up-in-coming companies from every industry. Many well-known brands first gained recognition by being included on the list and have since gone on to go public and become market leaders. This is our second time on the list, and we’re excited to be recognized for the hard work and progress we’ve made to this point.

The rapid growth of Ursus
Ursus was founded in 2015 by a small team who realized that doing things the same way “just because that’s how it’s been done” was an opportunity for change and evolution. Over our seven-year journey we’ve strived to challenge the status quo and find opportunity to improve our processes with the goal of improving the candidate and client experience; be it by new technology, automation, organizational alignment, constant improvement is in our DNA.
As we celebrate our debut on the Inc. 5000 list, we wanted to take a moment to highlight a few of the milestones we’ve achieved over the past year:
Ursus University Training Program Launch
Ursus University is a new, innovative, multiplatform training and development program designed for recent college graduates or those looking to start a career in the staffing industry. The program is delivered via a hybrid model that includes in person training and mentorship complemented by a self-paced remote on-demand curriculum curated and delivered by world-class staffing leaders from Ursus leadership and Ursus partners.
Opening Canadian Operations
Canada is the first market for Ursus outside the United States. The move was based on increasing demand from current and prospective clients based in Canada and the United States who are looking for talent outside of country borders. Since our launch three of our U.S. based clients have included Ursus to technical and creative supplier list in Canada.
Big plans and lots of work ahead
Being recognized by the Inc. 5000 “Fastest Growing Private Companies in the U.S.” list is an amazing recognition but there is much work and many more milestones ahead.
